team HOLDEN racing campaign two purpose-built TVR sports racing cars
– the Tuscan and Sagaris V8
Both cars utilise TVR’s own 4.5 litre, dry-sump V8 race engine
developing 450bhp. In cars weighing just 850kg, this is a fearsome 530
bhp per tonne!

The Sagaris V8 is new for 2006 and is currently in build, with expected
completion later in the year. A development of the Tuscan chassis and
running gear, the new car offers:
- The stunning looks of TVR’s current flagship model
- Vastly improved aerodynamics
- Wider front and rear track
We anticipate the new car being up to 2 seconds a lap quicker than the
existing Tuscan.

Both cars are constructed with composite bodywork over a steel chassis.
Bodywork is primarily glass reinforced plastic (GRP) with certain panels
constructed from carbon fibre or carbon/kevlar composite.
